Dr C. HOWARD WATSON
Dr Howard
Watson, previously Director of School of Building and Architecture and Centre
for Entrepreneurship at TUT, holds a BSc (Construction Management), MBA (UP)
and DBA (Entrepreneurship) (UP). He has in access of 30 years’ experience at
all levels in the Building and Construction Industry and 15 years’ experience
in an academic management environment. He achieved BIFSA Best Building Student
Award 1974. He has published and delivered papers internationally and won the
International Best Paper Award (Intent94) in Perth, Australia. He has consulted
and coached business and practiced entrepreneurship extensively. He is a
published author, a life coach and a lover of books.
PROFILE
My career has primarily
been in the Building and Construction Industry where I proceeded through the
ranks and various disciplines as an employee and later as an owner/entrepreneur
of various small businesses ranging from construction to retailing and
management consulting. This path led me to gain experience as a generalist in a
wide range of disciplines increasingly specializing in entrepreneurship and
general management consultation.
